A little more about me - I'm Kate and I live in Almondsbury with my husband, children, Holly who's a mischievous working cocker spaniel and Indy our German Shepherd. Not forgetting our other family members of course - Zippy the tortoise and Magic my beautiful thoroughbred.

My passion is animals, and has been ever since I can remember. My first cat at the age of three led onto further cats, hamsters, and a dog then when I went to university I was so lost without any animals I bought myself two rats! I really can't think of a better way of making a living than helping owners and their pets.

As well as being an animal biology graduate, I have worked my previous dogs - including Gemma the golden retriever, Maggie the Jack Russell cross, and Cassie my German Shepherd - in obedience competitions over many years and I hold my Advanced Canine Communication qualification (I was personally trained by the Dog Listener, Jan Fennell, and her son Tony Knight). Over time I have formed my own kind methods and I enjoy passing on my knowledge to help owners achieve a better relationship with their dogs.

 

I am also first-aid trained (animal), criminal record checked, and have public liability insurance to help put your mind at ease. Kate's Kanines is a registered company.
